Although wire entanglement is common, it can be significantly reduced by implementing regular management and inspections. If filter cloths in the workshop frequently experience wire entanglement, it is recommended to investigate and improve the situation from the following aspects. 

Step 1: First, assess, then act

After discovering the wire entanglement, it is recommended to stop the machine and check the extent of the entanglement.

Minor entanglement: If only a single or a few threads are pulled out but not broken, forming small loops or coils, this can usually be repaired.

Severe entanglement: If there is a large area of thread breakage, loose fabric structure, or even holes, the repair is more difficult and replacement may be necessary. 

Step 2: For minor wire entanglement, try these two methods

Backtracking method: Keep your hands clean. Find a smooth plastic needle or fine hook needle. Gently push the entangled thread in the direction of the weave back along the weave lines, trying to restore its original position. Be patient during the operation and avoid applying excessive force to prevent secondary damage.

Low-temperature ironing: After successfully backtracking the wire, place a thin cloth on the back of the area with the entangled thread and gently iron it with the low heat setting of the iron to help the fibers set and reduce the possibility of re-entanglement. Remember to test the heat resistance in an inconspicuous area first. 

Step 3: For severe damage, do not attempt to repair blindly

If the mesh is severely damaged or has developed holes, attempting to repair it yourself is unlikely to restore the original filtration accuracy. For critical processes, replacing the new filter cloth is a more reliable option to avoid affecting the filtration effect and product quality.
